Our school was filled with festive spirit on Friday 5 December, when we welcomed families, former pupils and members of the wider community to our after-school Winter Fair.
The event was a wonderful success, with something for everyone to enjoy. A fantastic range of festive food was available, with pizza proving to be a huge hit, alongside hotdogs, popcorn, sweets, and warming mulled wine.
There was no shortage of activities and stalls to explore. Children and adults alike enjoyed crafts, wreath making, bauble making, biscuit decorating, and a variety of games. Our popular toy, bottle and teddy tombolas, along with raffle tickets, added extra excitement, while a very special visit from Father Christmas brought plenty of smiles. We also found new homes for some old scooters, which were snapped up quickly.
The fair was busy throughout, with tokens and cash used across the stalls, and it was wonderful to see so many coming together to support the school.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, we raised an amazing £2,700, which will be used to support our children.
A huge thank you to all the teachers and volunteers who gave their time to organise and run the event, and to everyone who came along, joined in, and spent money to make the fair such a success. Your support means so much to us.
